A device being recognized as a Windows microphone does not automatically mean its PTT button is supported. Audio uses the Windows sound device, while physical buttons require compatible device identification and RadioPro support.
Supported device families include selected Kinesis and Delcom footswitches, Buddy desktop microphones, Plantronics PTT adapters, and the CTI Jackbox. Compatibility is model- and sometimes hardware-revision-specific, so verify the exact accessory before purchasing.
Connect the accessory, confirm that Windows recognizes it, then configure its button or footswitch action in Dispatch. Some devices added after an older Dispatch release require a software update or an applicable microphone patch.
