Can RadioPro connect a Motorola radio system to a Kenwood radio system?

Last updated:

Yes. RadioPro patching can bridge voice audio between supported Motorola MOTOTRBO and Kenwood NEXEDGE radio systems. Each side needs its own compatible control station radio, correctly configured RadioPro IP Gateway, and suitable network connectivity.

RadioPro Dispatch provides the operator interface for establishing a patch between the connected radio paths. The Gateways must be able to reach each other using the network arrangement required for patching; a working client connection alone does not confirm this path.

The patch carries voice audio. It does not translate GPS data, text messages, radio identities, emergency signaling, or other platform-specific data between Motorola and Kenwood protocols.

Have your dealer confirm the patching configuration supported by your versions and test both directions, audio levels, channel-busy behavior, and any radio-system hang time. The original radio systems retain their own operating characteristics and subscriber identities.
