The default RadioPro client connection port is TCP 48222. The complete firewall requirements depend on your Gateway settings, configuration tools, optional features, and connection method.
| Purpose | Default ports | Network scope |
|---|---|---|
| Dispatch, Solo, and Talk client connections | TCP 48222, configurable | Client-to-Gateway path for direct connections. |
| ICU discovery and configuration | UDP 48501; UDP/TCP 48502 | Configuration network. Auto Find discovery is local broadcast traffic. |
| NTP time synchronization | UDP 123 | Gateway access to its configured time server. |
These are service defaults, not a list of ports to expose publicly. Radio-side GPS/messaging, recorder streaming, patching, and diagnostic services have separate requirements; use the installation guide for the feature being deployed.
Routed private networks need appropriate routing and firewall rules; routing between subnets does not inherently require port forwarding. Direct inbound internet access requires a reachable public address and suitable NAT/firewall rules. Multiple Gateways sharing one public address require distinct external mappings.
RadioPro Link uses a different connection path. Obtain its current endpoint and outbound connection requirements from CTI. Keep administrative and discovery services restricted to authorized networks.
