Yes. RadioPro Dispatch supports image overlays on its GPS map, which can add campus, yard or facility context to the displayed area. An overlay is a map illustration; the radio locations still come from the supported location-reporting system.
- Prepare an image that is appropriate for the geographic area and that your organization has permission to use.
- In Edit mode, open Options → Dispatch Settings → GPS → Overlays, using the equivalent menu in your version.
- Add an overlay and browse for the image. Configure its placement using the controls provided by that version.
- Adjust transparency and the map/view preset so roads, boundaries and location markers remain readable.
- Save and test the overlay against known outdoor positions before operators use it.
For example, a distribution center could show building labels, yard gates and parking areas over its normal map. A map image should be checked for alignment and kept current when site layouts change.
An overlay does not create indoor tracking. It does not determine a radio's building floor, improve a weak GPS fix or provide a new position when the last report is stale. It also does not establish that internet basemaps will work offline. Check the timestamp on each location and use the separate indoor-positioning solution if that is the requirement.
