Yes. RadioPro Talk lets a supported iPhone or Android device access your compatible radio system over Wi-Fi or cellular data, even when the phone user is outside the radio system's RF coverage.
The phone connects over the network to a RadioPro IP Gateway. The Gateway's control station radio communicates with the field radios. The phone does not transmit directly on the radio frequency.
Both sides still need coverage: the phone needs a usable data connection, and the field radios need radio coverage to communicate with the control station. The Gateway, radio, and supporting network must remain powered and operational.
Using Talk on your own system requires the Gateway hardware, compatible radio connection, user credentials, and an available Solo/Talk connection license. Downloading the app alone does not connect it to an existing radio fleet.
A dealer can configure the appropriate remote connection method, including RadioPro Link where supported.
