Yes. RadioPro Dispatch can combine radio voice communications with a map of school bus locations when the bus radios, radio system, Gateway, and licenses support GPS reporting.
A dispatcher can select the appropriate radio channel, speak with drivers, and use reported vehicle positions to understand where buses were last located. This is useful when answering location questions or coordinating an unexpected delay.
Each bus needs a suitable GPS-equipped radio and the correct location-reporting configuration. The control station/Gateway must support the system's data path, and the required Gateway and Dispatch GPS licenses must be installed. Voice compatibility alone does not establish GPS compatibility.
The map shows received position reports. Report intervals, GPS reception, radio coverage, and data capacity determine how current each position is. Large fleets or frequent updates may benefit from a dedicated data-revert arrangement.
Location history is available for events that were received and logged. Keep the logging PC running and connected, and review retention and storage requirements. Radio-based location reporting does not, by itself, provide student boarding records, parent arrival notifications, or automatic route optimization.
