Encrypted network connections are available with supported RadioPro versions and the appropriate connection configuration. Encryption should be verified for your installation rather than assumed from the product name alone.
RadioPro Link uses an encrypted VPN connection between the supported Gateway and CTI's hosted service, with supported clients using TLS for the client-facing connection. A properly configured customer-managed VPN is another way to protect traffic over an untrusted network.
Older software or a direct legacy connection may not provide the same transport protection. Ask your dealer or IT administrator to confirm the Gateway generation, installed client versions, connection method, and whether encryption is enabled across the required network paths.
Network encryption and radio encryption protect different parts of the system. Protecting an IP connection does not add over-the-air encryption to the radio fleet. Any radio privacy or encryption requirements must be addressed in the radio system itself.
Provide specific security or compliance requirements to CTI before selecting a deployment; encryption alone does not establish compliance with a particular standard.
