Yes. RadioPro Talk can connect supported iPhone and Android devices on warehouse Wi-Fi to a compatible two-way radio system through a RadioPro IP Gateway and control station radio.
The phone uses Wi-Fi for its network connection. The control station uses the radio system to reach workers carrying radios. The smartphone does not transmit directly on the warehouse radio frequency.
Provide reliable Wi-Fi coverage in the areas where phones will be used, permit the required network traffic, and configure the correct Gateway address and user credentials. Each concurrent Talk connection uses the appropriate Gateway connection license. Check microphone, notification, and background permissions on the intended phone models.
In a Wi-Fi dead spot, the phone loses that path. Cellular data can provide another path only if service is available and the Gateway is reachable through the configured remote-access method. Test roaming and network transitions; continuous reception should not be assumed.
The radio users still need RF coverage to the control station. Adding phone access can help office or supervisory users, but it does not remove radio dead zones for workers who continue to carry radios.
