Install a supported RadioPro Solo client on the Windows PC, enter the Gateway connection address supplied for your site, and sign in with an account configured on that Gateway. The radio and Gateway must already be installed and configured.
- Check versions and access. Obtain the supported Solo installer and confirm the Gateway's licensed Solo/Talk connection capacity.
- Choose the right address. On a direct local connection, use the Gateway's reachable LAN address and configured client port. For RadioPro Link, use the endpoint name and connection settings supplied by CTI.
- Sign in. Enter the assigned username and password. A Windows login or Dispatch license file is not a substitute for the Gateway account.
- Configure audio. In Solo's client audio settings, select and test the intended microphone and playback device. Check physical PTT-device support separately from Windows audio detection.
- Verify both connections. Check Gateway and radio status, select the intended recipient/channel, and make a controlled receive/transmit test. Wait for talk permit before speaking.
If the Gateway connects but the radio does not, investigate the control station, interface cable and programming. If a connection works briefly and then disconnects with a license message, check the installed connection count or timed license.
Solo shares one voice control station with the other clients on that Gateway. A channel change affects the shared radio; the PC does not acquire an independent receiver.
